CONESE has achieved B Corp certification, the international recognition that comprehensively evaluates a company’s social, environmental, and governance impact. For us, it confirms a path we have taken since our inception, guided by Purposeful Development: the benchmark that defines the people who make up our team, how we approach every project, and the clients we choose to work with.
WHAT IS B CORP CERTIFICATION?
An international standard verified by an independent third party
B Corp certification is driven by B Lab, the international non-profit organisation that comprehensively verifies companies’ social, environmental, and governance impact in line with its own standards. These standards are defined by the B Lab Standards Advisory Council, an independent, multi-stakeholder group with expertise across business, government, academia, and non-profit organisations, ensuring the rigor and independence of the process.
To obtain it, a company must undergo a comprehensive assessment and a third-party verified audit of its performance across three key dimensions: social impact, environmental impact (including climate action), and corporate governance, with a particular focus on transparency.
Today, over 11,000 companies across more than 100 countries are part of this movement.

When a company achieves B Corp certification, it makes a legal commitment: to amend its articles of association to require evaluating, in every business decision, the impact on its employees, shareholders, partners, clients, and the environment, alongside its financial results. This is what B Lab calls “stakeholder governance”: a model where business strategy and positive impact are integrated into the exact same decision.
WHY HAVE WE CHOSEN THIS PATH?

CONESE stands for Purposeful Development: it is the why behind our work, the thread that connects the people who join our team, the projects we choose to take on, and the clients we work with. We were born with this purpose.
From our beginnings, we have operated with a code of ethics and core values (transparency, proximity, trust, generosity, and rigour) defined alongside our team, shareholders, partners, and clients—values that are, above all, a true reflection of our reality.
B Corp certification confirms who we are. The certification process has helped us formalise our approach and challenged us to keep moving forward within this model, backed by the rigour of an international standard verified by an independent third party.
WHAT DOES THIS COMMIT US TO?
From conviction to formal commitment
The certification process has led us to take a further step: we have amended our articles of association to state that “CONESE will ensure the generation of a positive social impact for society, its stakeholders, and the environment”. This conviction is now also a formal commitment embedded within our own governing documents.
This commitment translates into a double impact approach, aligned with the criteria of intentionality, materiality, and verifiability required by B Lab. Every project we develop creates an impact that ripples outward from organisations and individuals to the sectors in which they operate, and ultimately to society as a whole.
This approach is delivered through two key levers:
- Impact Improvement: We support companies to systematically and verifiably improve their environmental, social, and governance performance.
- Economic Opportunities and Empowerment: We strengthen companies’ capacity to generate economic value aligned with positive social and environmental impact.

B Corp certification commits us to continuing along this path, with ever-greater rigour in impact measurement.
