Horse

Human Rights Impact Map and Management Model

Challenge

To identify the company’s main human rights impacts by analysing its presence throughout Horse’s value chain and determining the groups potentially affected (stakeholders). The aim was to obtain an accurate and systematic overview of the risks and impacts associated with its activities, as a preliminary step towards compliance with the new European regulatory frameworks and the consolidation of its due diligence strategy.

Results

Conese has developed, in accordance with international standards such as the OECD Guidelines, the UN Guiding Principles and emerging regulations such as CS3D, a methodology for identifying human rights impacts applicable to Horse’s value chain.

The analysis carried out has resulted in the Horse Human Rights Impacts Catalogue, which sets out the potential impacts on the various rights holders. This catalogue has been validated and integrated with the corporate risk map, enabling the company to align its risk management with due diligence requirements and reinforce its commitment to human rights.
